Lakeside Manor - Private Pool and Hot Tub

This has been our favorite rental we have ever stayed at. It was very clean and spacious. Perfect location for all our favorite spots like devils Backbone and bold rock. The property owner was very accommodating and responsive. 11/10 recommend staying here when visiting Nellysford!

From the moment we walked in the door we were so impressed by this home. 12 family members ages 14-72. Grandkids found plenty to do-ski nearby, games and hot tub. Walks to pond and state park. Bourbon and beer brewery also nearby House had enough beds for 10-12. Dining room for us all comfortably. Appliances were retro looking and worked well. So much room to enjoy. Master suite with clawfoot tub was amazing. 5 bathrooms and a wonderful game room with ping pong, pool and football. Well stocked linens and basic needs.sunrises over back deck every morning. Has built in pool but we were there in winter to ski so can't comment in that Many outdoor spaces to sit and have coffee or cocktails. Wintergreen ski resort about 15 minutes drive-enough away for privacy in this home at end of a cut-de-sac. Sunroom was ample to watch TV. This house was so large we got lost in it. Granddaughter thought it would be fun to count the doors!-all 59!!! Would definitely come back Kerkhoff /LaGrasaa/Overly family

This is the 3rd year we have booked a "Christmas" house through VRBO for our extended family and this house didn't disappoint!! It was convenient for our local gang to travel to (Charlottesville, Afton, and Fredericksburg) but our out-of-staters (Michigan and Tennessee) really enjoyed the spacious house, easy parking, and all of the outdoor attractions. It was important to have a dining table for 12 for Christmas dinner and we were able to fit everyone at the table -- no kid table necessary!! My nieces loved the game room and one played pool for the first time. We played a lot: cards every night, live music every day in the sunroom, and the hot tub was a dream!!!! I really appreciated the high quality linens and the comfortable mattresses. I don't believed I've ever seen sunrises so beautiful. The sky lit up with bright pink over the mountains and pond every morning. Thank you for making this Christmas so special for us.
